The government plans to conclude an agreement with the European Space Agency (ESA) on the exchange and mutual protection of classified information. The move is based on the National Security Bureau's own initiative. The ESA approached the Security Bureau with a proposal to conclude an agreement in 2020 as part of the preparations for the transition of Slovakia from the level of cooperating state to associate membership. The agreement aims to ensure the mutual protection of all classified facts that have been designated as such according to the legal order of one of the contracting parties and handed over to other contracting parties.
