On Wednesday, four people lost their lives as a small motor plane crashed near the village of Trenčianske Stankovce in the Trenčín district. According to the spokesman of the Regional Directorate of the Fire and Rescue Corps in Trenčín, Marian Petrik, the accident occurred shortly before 14.45 h, 11 professional firefighters from Trenčín with three pieces of equipment intervened at the scene and found four people who suffered lethal injuries.
