Slovakia, together with Romania and Moldova, will take part in a UNESCO project to support Ukrainian refugees via the media. "The aim of the project, financed by the Japanese government, is to support continuous access for Ukrainian refugees in Slovakia to quality, objective and relevant information," the Slovak Commission for UNESCO has reported on its website. The UNESCO project should be implemented in Slovakia later this year and will offer an opportunity to involve Ukrainian refugees in the production of special media programmes and to boost their skills in conflict-sensitive reporting.
