The Trnava District Court on Wednesday conditionally released Juraj Hossu, who was sentenced to nine years in 2019 for the killing of Filipino Henry Acorda in Bratislava. The court placed him on probation for seven years, ordered him to be controlled by technical means - a bracelet - for three years, and placed him on probation supervision for the same period. Hossu is also under an employment order and banned from consuming alcohol and narcotics. He has a curfew from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. every day. Henry Acorda, a 36-year-old financial analyst from the Philippines living and working in Bratislava, was attacked in 2018 by Hossu on one of the city’s main streets, according to reports.
