Slovak President Zuzana Caputova spoke with her Moldavian counterpart Maia Sandu on Wednesday on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Slovakia and Moldova. Caputova acknowledged that today, Moldova is in a very difficult domestic and security situation, when it is facing pressure and threats from Russia. She pointed out that fragments from missiles flying to Ukraine have already landed on Moldovan territory several times. In terms of diplomatic relations, she noted that Slovakia and Moldova are close to each other. On Wednesday, Zuzana Caputova also spoke with her Lithuanian and Polish counterparts Gitanas Naused and Andrzej Duda. The topic of the conversations was their expectations from the July NATO summit in Vilnius.
