MPs ended the discussion on a resolution on shortening the electoral term on Thursday evening. The resolution will determine the date of an early parliamentary election. Its draft refers to September 30, which was agreed upon by the parties of the former coalition. Lawmakers agreed to vote on the resolution on Tuesday (January 31) at 5 p.m. during the next regular meeting. To approve the resolution 90 votes are needed. Speaking on TV Joj's political show on Thursday evening, interim Premier Eduard Heger (OLANO) said that the date of the early election is fully in the hands of MPs and that he wouldl fit in with their decision. Besides the end of September, opposition parties suggest snap elections to take place either in May or June.
