State will increase the share capital of Poprad-Tatry Airport

The government approved on Monday at its extraordinary session that the state will increase the share capital of joint-stock company Poprad-Tatry Airport from state financial assets by €1.2 million, to bridge the temporary lack of liquidity caused by factors beyond the entity's control. "The energy crisis and the current situation in Ukraine has a major impact on the company's economic result for the past year. Poprad-Tatry Airport expects a negative economic result for 2022," reads the report. The state, represented by the Transport Ministry, is a 97.61-percent shareholder of the company.
