Slovak tennis player Alex Molčan eliminated former world number 3 Swiss Stan Wawrinka in a five-set match 6:7 (3), 6:3, 1:6, 7:6 (2), 6:4, at the Australian Open. Wawrinka won this tournament in 2014. The Slovak thus advanced to the second round, where he will face Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime. The one game these opponents played ended with Molčan’s victory. The 25-year Slovak is currently number 53 in the ATP, while Auger-Aliassime is at the 7th place now.
