At the first opening in the Tatra Gallery in Poprad on Friday, 13 January, an exhibition on the work of photographer Emmanuel Radnitzky, known under the pseudonym Man Ray, will be open to visitors. Anna Ondrušeková, the director of the gallery, informed that the exhibition is entitled Madeleine Deslandes, Paris 1925 and visitors will be able to see it in the premises of the old power plant until the end of March. "Man Ray is undoubtedly one of the major figures in the history of photography and fine art of the 20th century, becoming part of the emerging Dadaism and one of the leading representatives of its New York section. Playfulness, negation of any conventions and the joy of experimentation became his fundamental creative method for a long time," Ondrušeková said.
