The Sloboda a Solidarita (SaS) party will hold a congress in April at which the delegates will elect its chairman for the next four years, with current leader Richard Sulik running for re-election. Sulík, who was re-elected as party chair in 2019, is now conceding that the party should think about his successor in the future. "I have been the party chairman for fourteen years. If SaS is to continue to function, we should think about who could replace me," he added, not specifying who this might be. Sulík wants to lead the party into the next general election as the head of the party slate.
