A total of 59 percent of voters want an early parliamentary election in May or June 2023, according to the results of a survey carried out by Focus agency for TV Markiza and SME daily. Five percent of respondents want a later date for a snap parliamentary election in September or October next year. On the contrary, 19 percent of respondents are in favour of holding the election in the spring of 2024. Seventeen percent of the people polled could not answer. A total of 27 percent of respondents want the formation of a new government that would last until an early election in 2023, and 18 percent of voters want current Eduard Heger's government to make it to a snap election. Twenty-two percent of respondents prefer a caretaker government until an early election takes place, 17 percent of voters want the formation of a new government and its governing until a regular parliamentary election in the spring of 2024, and 16 percent of respondents were not able to answer. The poll was carried out between December 16-20 on a sample of 1,180 respondents.
