Had a general election taken place in December, it would have been won by the extra-parliamentary Hlas-SD party of former Prime Minister for Smer-SD Peter Pellegrini with 19 percent of the votes, ahead of the opposition Smer-SD party at 16.6 percent and another non-parliamentary party Progressive Slovakia with 12.8 percent, according to the results of a survey carried out by Focus agency for TV Markiza.
The coalition Sme Rodina party would have come fourth with 8.2 percent, followed by another coalition OLANO party (7.4 percent), the extra-parliamentary Republic party (6.9 percent), the non-parliamentary Christian Democrats (KDH - 5.9 percent) and the opposition SaS (5.6 percent). (TASR)
