The Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Slovakia for 2022 will be entered and certificates will be handed over for the following elements: marking of hiking trails, Kyjatice toys and babka bobbin lace. At the same time, at a ceremony in the theatre of The Slovak State Traditional Dance Company (SĽUK) in Bratislava's Rusovce, certificates were handed out for the elements inscribed in 2019-2021. They were awarded to the ornament from Čataj and Veľký Grob, the gajdica, the easter eggs from Polichno, the chimney cake from Skalica, the Janosik tradition, the dances in the Myjava-Trencian area, the wormholes, the Goral culture and the Karička of Parchovany. The last editions of the proclamation ceremony were not held due to the pandemic. The process related to the creation of the representative list is coordinated and administered by the Centre for Traditional Folk Culture as an expert department of SĽUK.
