For 83 percent of Slovaks the most important thing when looking for a job is the level of salary offered, while 62 percent of people are interested in the place of work when choosing a new job, according to a survey conducted by Focus agency for a company called Profesia. The data was collected between November 2-8 from 1,017 people.
A total of 57 percent of the people polled said that it's important to have enough information about the job when looking for work, while 32 percent of the respondents were interested in the employee benefits offered. The survey also showed that an employer with a good name is important for 20 percent of people, while 12 percent said that a concise job title is important.
Information about salaries is also the most frustrating factor for people when looking for a job, with 38 percent of the respondents stating that they are discouraged by low salaries. Frustration over low pay has increased over the past two years. In 2020, the figure was 5 percentage points lower at 33 percent. (TASR)
