No confidence voting in the government

The 78th parliamentary session continues on Tuesday with debates on amendments to the Commercial Code and the distraint order sponsored by the Justice Ministry. The vote of no-confidence in the Government started at 11 a.m. The motion was initiated by the opposition Sloboda a Solidarita - Freedom and Solidarity (SaS) party and co-signed by MPs around Peter Pellegrini (HLAS-SD party). The vote of no-confidence in the Government will be postponed until 5 p.m. on Thursday (December 15). MPs decided on this move at noon on Tuesday by approving a procedural proposal to this effect submitted by OLANO caucus head Michal Sipos, who pointed to the need to create room for negotiations on a solution to the current crisis, including possible elections.
