On Monday, President of the Slovak Republic Zuzana Čaputová visited Slovak soldiers and police officers serving in Cyprus as part of the United Nations peacekeeping mission. She also met with the President of Cyprus, Nicos Anastasiades. During their meeting, they also discussed the security situation in the region and the war in Ukraine. "We have good relations with Cyprus, which we can further deepen in the field of innovation or green transition," the President concluded. The President visited soldiers and police officers in Cyprus as part of the tradition of pre-Christmas visits to Slovak soldiers serving in foreign missions.
