The Spolu party has its place in my project and party chairman Miroslav Kollár is very well informed about the project, former prime minister Mikuláš Dzurinda stated in his speech at the congress of the Spolu party on Saturday.
According to him, the "half-percent party" is not insignificant. "I think that one thing is already certain today. The Together party has its place in this project and can play an extremely important role in the effort to rid the Slovak citizens of the anxiety that we are dependent or condemned to the future government, which will be formed by Smer A [Smer-SD], Smer B [Hlas-SD], the browns [far-right parties] or populists," said Dzurinda.
In his address, he confirmed that he has been meeting for two years with young people who want to engage in political reform. They are creating a project and he thinks they are on the right track. When it is finished, he will present it to the general public. "It's necessary to try to create a meaningful political alternative for Slovakia so that a reformist, responsible and pro-European political grouping can be created that will stop avoiding the country's problems, but on the contrary, will start to address these real problems," stated the ex-prime minister.
