Interior Minister survives another no-confidence motion

Interior Minister Roman Mikulec (OLaNO) survived a no-confidence vote in Parliament on Thursday. Of the 143 MPs present, 71 were in favour of ousting him, while 47 voted against the motion, 23 abstained from voting and two MPs didn't take part in the vote.
Mikulec survived his eighth no-confidence vote since taking up office. This most recent motion to oust him was initiated by the opposition Smer-SD party, which has reproached him for what it sees as his failure to deal with the migration crisis and manage his ministry properly. (TASR)
