Former governmental party Freedom and Solidarity, Sas, collected enough signatures to initiate a special House session to deal with the no-confidence motion in the government. This will be most probably held on Thursday (December 8). Opposition Hlas-SD leader Peter Pellegrini confirmed that the SaS party had acquired signatures also from his lawmakers. This cooperation won't mark the forging of a new political alliance but rather shows Hlas-SD's constructive stance, he said. According to PM Eduard Heger, Sas leader Richard Sulik wants to topple the third democratic anti-corruption government in the last 12 years. (TASR)
