The Dutch royal couple, King William Alexander and Queen Maxima, will pay an official visit to Slovakia between March 7 and 9, 2023 at the invitation of President Zuzana Caputova.
"I appreciate it very much that King William Alexander and Queen Maxima have accepted my invitation and that we'll be able to welcome them to Slovakia in the spring. I view this visit as confirmation of the excellent relations between our countries, which are united by common values and cooperation in various fields. The March visit will be an opportunity to deepen these relations even further," stated the president.
The president's spokesman Martin Strizinec noted that Slovakia and the Netherlands share common values and priorities, along with a partnership within the European Union and NATO. The main topics of the royal visit will be the rule of law and climate protection, including the transition to a circular economy, plus the promotion of inclusion and diversity in society.
