The Health Ministry reached an agreement with the medical trade unions on seven points of the memorandum, with salaries, which are not within the purview of the Health Ministry remaining unresolved, stated Health Minister Vladimir Lengvarsky on Thursday. The technical completion of the draft memorandum on the seven points with other ministries should take a few days. The head of the Medical Trade Union Peter Visolajsky confirmed the minister's words. He expressed a belief that the adjustments will be approved in Parliament in the near future. More than 2,100 doctors have submitted collective resignations as a sign of disagreement with the current conditions in the system. Unless they reach an agreement with the government, their notice period will expire at the end of the month.
