Prime Minister: Our skies are safe

Slovakia has strengthened its security. SR has a secure airspace like never before. This was stated by Prime Minister Eduard Heger and Minister of Defense Jaroslav Naď (both OĽANO) in connection with the impact of missiles on the territory of Poland. Naď declared that all measures are being taken to ensure the safety of Slovak territory and citizens. "I can confirm that there are monitoring systems that are deployed by various NATO allies, various drones and similar systems that ensure an overview of the air space," he added. According to Naď, a scenario similar to that in Poland cannot be ruled out in Slovakia. People should be careful and prudent. "The risk that a similar incident will happen still exists and will exist as long as Russia is at war with Ukraine, because we are a neighboring country," Heger pointed out. According to him, it is necessary for Russia to stop its "senseless attack" on Ukraine. At the same time, the Prime Minister warned people to be careful about what news is being spread on the Internet. He confirmed that they had already noted misinformation. "Please be prudent and verify every source," he urged.
