The body of a 17-year-old teenage girl was found on Sunday morning in a family house in the town of Krompachy in Kosice region without signs of life, with a visible stab wound on her body. "The police are currently carrying out preliminary investigations at the crime scene, inspecting the crime scene and securing forensic traces that will be examined by experts. According to the preliminary statement of the forensic expert at the scene, it is a violent death caused by somebody else and an autopsy has been ordered. The police detained one suspect at the scene with whom the necessary procedural steps are being carried out," said Kosice police spokeswoman Jana Mesarova. A regional police investigator started a criminal prosecution for a particularly serious crime of murder.
