The security cyberattack on Parliament on Thursday turned out to be quite serious in scale, prompting House Chair Boris Kollar to adjourn the current parliamentary session. The most optimistic scenario is that the session might be reconvened next week, but in all likelihood this will not happen before November 8, Kollar announced on Thursday. As he informed, the source of the problem had not been identified. The House chair will be told whether or not the problem has been fixed on Wednesday, November 2. Earlier on Thursday, lawmakers were expected to vote on dozens of bills, as Parliament had been busy for several days with extensive debates.
