On Wednesday, European Parliament President Roberta Metsola thanked the Slovak head of state Zuzana Caputova and Slovakia for harbouring more than 700,000 people who have fled the war in Ukraine. At their joint briefing in Strasbourg, Metsola also underlined the solidarity and praised the extensive political and military aid provided to Ukraine by Slovakia. (TASR)
