Poll: Pellegrini viewed as most credible politician

Leader of extra-parliamentary Voice-SD party and former PM Peter Pellegrini is perceived by the public as the most credible political leader, with 41%% of the respondents claiming that they trust him, according to poll carried out by Focus agency. He was followed by President Zuzana Čaputová who enjoyed support from 40% of the respondents. Opposition Smer-SD leader Robert Fico was placed third, viewed as trustworthy by 33%. Finance Minister and head of the largest governing Ordinary People party Igor Matovič is the least trusted politician with support from only 8%.

Speaker of Parliament and We are family head Boris Kollár placed fourth (26%), followed by MEP for far right Republic movement Milan Uhrík (25%), extra-parliamentary SNS leader Andrej Danko (22%), PM Eduard Heger (Ordinary people - 22%), MP and Freedom and Solidarity head Richard Sulík (20%), extra-parliamentary Progressive Slovakia leader Michal Šimečka (19%), leader of extra-parliamentary Christian Democratic Movement Milan Majerský (17%), Deputy PM Veronika Remišová (For the People - 15%), far-right People’s Party our Slovakia leader Marian Kotleba (12%), ethnic Hungarian Alliance leader Krisztián Forró (9%)

The survey was carried out on a sample of 1,009 respondents between September 21-27.
