Crisis management team approved plan for refugee influx

The central crisis management team on Monday approved a contingency plan for dealing with influxes of refugees from Ukraine. According to Interior Minister Roman Mikulec, the new solutions will be more effective than a few months ago. Education Minister Jan Horecky said that his ministry is ready to provide assistance if need be, and to the necessary extent, in providing help and care for people who will have no other option. He assured school directors and all schools that the conditions under which ministry would provide this necessary assistance are very carefully defined. He added that the ministry will identify the most suitable facilities. General manager of the Interior Ministry's crisis management department Michaela Kanova said that it's better to be prepared than to be surprised should another wave of Ukrainian refugees appear. According to Mikulec, the contingency plan is built on experience from the past.
