Premier Eduard Heger met outgoing Ukrainian Ambassador to Slovakia Yuriy Mushka in Bratislava on Monday. "Nothing is changing in our support for Ukraine with the change in the ambassador post and our goal still remains the end of the conflict and a stable Ukraine anchored in the European Union," stressed the premier. Heger and Mushka talked about the current situation in Ukraine, as well as Monday's Russian missile attacks on several Ukrainian cities that caused material damage and left dozens of civilians injured and several dead. "The senseless shelling of civilian targets is inexcusable and is an unnecessary stepping up of the conflict on the Russian part," stated Heger. The ambassador thanked Heger for the help that Slovakia has been providing to Ukraine. Yuriy Mushka thanked Slovakia for the support of Ukrainians. “You stand by us in the most difficult moments, we will not forget this," he said.
