The Head of the Post Bellum civil association Sandra Polovkova has received the Order of Merit of Ukraine in line with a decree issued by the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on August 23, the Ukrainian embassy in Slovakia has reported on Facebook. The award was bestowed on Polovkova for her notable personal contribution to bolstering Slovak-Ukrainian cooperation and support of the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. The civil association’s head noted that during the first 100 days of the Russian invasion, Post Bellum managed to supply Ukraine with military materials, such as bulletproof vests and helmets, for instance, worth €1.3 million. She said that she views the decoration as thanks to everyone who helped with this process.
