Igor Matovič remains Minister of Finance. Parliament did not recall him from his post in a no-confidence motion. Only 73 MPs of the 124 MPs present for the vote supported his ouster. At least 76 votes were needed to remove him. Matovič himself did not take part in the vote, as he flew to Luxembourg for a meeting of the EU Council of Finance Ministers.
