In Slovakia, hundreds of high-risk entities do business for which bankruptcy is only a matter of time, with the highest share of such companies being engaged in the construction of residential and non-residential buildings, indicates an analysis by consulting company Dun & Bradstreet.
The analysis monitored 269,000 companies that do business in Slovakia. It showed that 1,656 of them have the worst rating and have a high credit risk and are on the verge of bankruptcy. The analysis further showed that 'other retail in non-specialised stores' follows with 63 high-risk companies, and 'road freight transport' ended up third with 61 firms.
