The volume of cargo transport in Slovakia posted a significant fall by 13.3% in July 2022 compared to the previous year, while passenger transport grew by almost 13% year-on-year (y-o-y), the Statistics Office reported on Monday. July was the weakest month of this year in cargo transport so-far, and the volume of transported goods only equalled 63.6% of the figure seen before the pandemic (in July 2019).
