Opposition MPs from the far-right LSNS party have called on the rest of the opposition to make a joint attempt to block Parliament as of the October session, MP Martin Belusky told a news conference on Friday. According to Belusky, far-right MPs will support coalition-sponsored laws that they consider good and will not support those they disagree with. He defended this stance by stating that the other opposition parties are not blocking the coalition, either. As the current session was opened, the opposition failed to make use of the possibility to block Parliament for three months, stated Belusky. The Slovak Constitution allows the head of state to dissolve parliament in such a case. Belusky criticised the Smer-SD party for voting for the session's agenda.
