New Slovak Foreign Affairs Minister Rastislav Káčer assured his Ukrainian counterpart Dmytro Kuleba that Kiev can continue to count on Slovakia’s support. The two ministers also discussed the current situation in Ukraine, recent developments on the battlefield and challenges stemming from the Russian invasion. "We have shown solidarity with our neighbour many times before, because by helping Ukraine, Slovakia is strengthening its own security. Slovakia will continue its robust bilateral assistance, and we will also work to maintain unity within the EU and NATO. Our position remains clear and unchanged," Káčer stressed. Kuleba praised Slovakia's stance and thanked it for all the support the country has provide to his homeland.
