Google in Slovakia is testing a new method of combating information regarded as fake news, according to a company press release. The new method consists of one-minute video ads on social networks. In this way, the company wants to increase the resistance of adults to what is widely regarded as misinformation. The campaign will try to prevent what are seen as manipulative techniques used by the disinformation scene to spread disinformation against Ukrainian refugees. In addition to Slovakia, the test programme will also run in the Czech Republic and Poland.
