The Slovak state budget recorded a deficit of €1.517 billion in August. The deficit was thus €2.437 billion lower than in the same period of last year. Tax revenues grew by 17.4% y-o-y. Positive developments were seen for almost all taxes, in particular in value-added tax (up €722.6 million), in corporate tax (up €603.1 million), and in excise taxes (up €127.3 million).
