The 30th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of the Slovak Republic will be commemorated by the National Council (NR) of the Slovak Republic on September 1 with a ceremonial session of the Parliament to be held in downtown Bratislava. The session will be followed by the awarding of state prizes. The Slovak Constitution, which consists of a summary of basic legal norms on social organization, political organization and the status of citizens, has undergone 19 amendments in 30 years.
