President Zuzana Caputova said on Thursday that she expects coalition representatives to announce on Friday, August 26, at the latest how they will continue, emphasising the need for a stable government. The head of state expects that the next form of government will be known after Friday's meeting. "Subsequently, I should assume my constitutional powers, which are related to the possible submission of resignations, and within that context I'll comment on the whole situation," she said. As Caputova added, she prefers the direct appointment of new ministers, rather than their being temporarily named. She will discuss this with Prime Minister Eduard Heger. The president pointed out that the real-life problems of people living in Slovakia are different from the arguments of politicians.
