The Prešov Greek Catholic Charity (GKCH) is expanding its services to help emigrants from Ukraine. On Tuesday, the charity opened a support center in Prešov that aims to provide social assistance, administrative support, education, leisure activities, humanitarian aid and accompaniment. The head of the new support center, Štefan Pacák, said that Ukrainian emigrants will be able to find various forms of help at the center, including with writing resumes and finding jobs, help with the Slovak language, financial education, various leisure activities and creative workshops. The center will also help in case of need for transport to doctors, offices, etc. The Prešov GKCH support center is part of a joint project of individual diocesan, archdiocesan and eparchial charities in Slovakia under the auspices of Caritas Slovakia.
