Schools will receive a financial contribution for pupils from Ukraine in September, Education Minister Branislav Groehling told a press conference on Tuesday. As he added, these finances will be from EU funds for the previous March-August period, with the amount exceeding €10 million. In the new school year, funds will be allocated according to the number of children from Ukraine reported by the school at the end of the month. Schools will receive funding every quarter. The contribution per pupil will be approximately €200 per month. According to the education minister, money from European funds is guaranteed until December 2023.
