On the weekend, Slovak firefighters returned from their longest-ever foreign assistance in the Czech Switzerland National Park in the north-west of Czechia. The massive fire broke out in this locality on July 24, lasted for 20 days and touched 1,060 hectares of land. More than 6,000 firefighters from numerous countries and 400 pieces of equipment were deployed to extinguish the blaze.
