Nothing more than a positive antigen test for COVID-19 taken at a mobile testing site will be required for the prescription of Paxlovid drug, Health Ministry's crisis management department general director Ildiko Kukanova announced on Thursday. The change in the prescription terms is set to come into effect as of August 15. On Tuesday, 21,000 packages of the drug are to be delivered to Slovakia. "Our effort is to make sure the drug makes it to the people who really need it and prevent the population from hoarding it," said Kukanova.
