A 23-year-old homeless man from the Banská Bystrica region may go to prison after he was taken into custody by Police in Bratislava, a city from where he'd been banned by the authorities for five years for disturbing public order several times in the past.
On Wednesday morning he was taken into custody following another public disturbance. By far Slovakia’s richest locality, Bratislava has been attracting many poor people from other parts of the country for years searching for manual jobs, with some ending up on the streets once they lose them. The city has tried to solve the issue by forcing them to return to where they came from.
