Fire in Malá Lodina eradicated

Firefighters managed to completely eradicate a forest fire in the eastern Slovak village of Malá Lodina. The fire, which engulfed an area of approximately 51 hectares in difficult terrain, broke out on July 20. According to the city of Košice, it caused enormous damage to the property of the urban forests. It was probably caused by carelessness in setting the fire.
