The total number of people who have entered the territory of the Slovak Republic since the outbreak of the war in Ukraine is 653,319, according to Slovak Interior Ministry. Moreover, 410,226 persons have left Slovakia for Ukraine since the beginning of the war and the number of temporary shelters granted is 87,622. On July 30, 3,629 people from Ukraine crossed the border crossings. Of these, 749 were men, 2,056 women and 824 children. One applicant applied for temporary shelter. On the other hand, 4097 persons crossed the border from Slovakia to Ukraine.
