President Čaputová: Slovakia needs talents of LGBTI community

Slovakia needs talents that can be found among the LGBTI community and its labour to create wealth, wrote Slovak President Zuzana Čaputová at the occasion of the Rainbow Pride March, which took in Bratislava place last weekend. ”You are at home here and you are not the problem, it is those who make you a target in order to further their own political ends…I wish we could try to reach out to each other, engage in an invective-free dialogue and seek a way to coexist in Slovakia together, noted the President adding that societies that embrace their diversity persevere in the face of crises the best. According to Čaputová, the real lives of gays, lesbians and transgender people are miles away from misconceptions held and feared by some people in Slovakia.
