Defence Ministers discuss more military aid for Ukraine

Further military aid to Ukraine is on its way. Slovak Defence Minister Jaroslav Nad joined on Wednesday the online meeting of the Contact Group for Support to Ukraine. This was held in the format of selected Ministers of Defence, led by the United States of America. According to Jaroslav Nad, Slovakia will support Kyiv for as long as necessary. Based on the latest information, discussions revolve around the possible training of a Ukrainian squadron in Slovakia. Nonetheless, it is not yet known what kind of help Ukraine will receive. The list of Soviet equipment in Slovakia following Mig 29 jets, T 72 tanks or infantry fighting vehicles is still extensive. Almost all NATO member states are participating in the delivery of military aid to the country battling Russian aggression.
