Slovenian Defense Minister Marjan Šarec, accompanied by Slovak Defense Minister Jaroslav Naď (OĽANO), visited the Lešť Training Center on Tuesday to view the operation of the Slovenian unit within the multinational NATO battlegroup, which has been in operation since the spring. The ministers inspected the premises of Camp Slavia and met with the soldiers that are housed there. The program also included both a dynamic and a static display of military equipment, as well as a discussion by ministers about the security situation in Europe. Both ministers expressed the need for intensifying cooperation in the sphere of the defense industry, which they said can be beneficial for increasing the defense capabilities of both countries.
