President Zuzana Caputova on Thursday thanked athletes - who won five medals, two of them gold - at the 24th Summer Deaflympics in the Brazilian city of Caxias do Sul for representing Slovakia so well. Caputova handed out letters of thanks to the athletes at the same time. She also commemorated deaflympian Adrian Babic, who died tragically while training on his bike. A total of 12 athletes represented Slovakia in Brazil May 1-15.
