The police have launched an investigation into a surgical operation at Ruzinov hospital in Bratislava in which a patient had the wrong eye removed and lost their sight completely as a result. "An investigator of the Bratislava II District Directorate of the Police Corps has launched a criminal investigation into the causing of bodily harm," reads the post on police profile on social networks. The surgeon in charge of the operation is no longer working with patients. A complaint has also been lodged with the Health Care Supervision Office.
